Uniting Against Corruption
On December 9th, Sierra Leone joined nations around the world to celebrate International Anti-Corruption Day (IACD). TISL led a vibrant march through the streets of Freetown, attended by students, civil society activists, and government officials.
Symposium Highlights
Following the march, a high-level symposium was held at the City Hall.
- Keynote Address: Delivered by the Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission.
- Panel Discussion: Experts discussed the link between corruption and environmental degradation.
- Awards Ceremony: Recognition was given to “Integrity Champions” in the public service.
“Today we renew our vow to not rest until corruption is uprooted from our society,” declared the TISL Chairperson.
